I think Matt Higgs would qualify as a rogue brewer, and one of the Commander writers occasionally does a few rogue brews right after the sets get spoiled (maybe Sheldon?)

I like the episode, off to a great start.

Just thought I would comment on the planeswalker discussion. Garruk's last name is Wildspeaker, and you can tell a planeswalker last name by the card names without commas. Ex. Chandra Nalaar, Jace Beleren.

This was great. You guys personify everything I like about MTG. Would you be willing to check out my Temur Dragon control deck? It uses Sarkhan Unbroken and a Volcanic Vision/Dig through Time combo. Not quite finished building it yet, but I've tried it with proxies, and it plays pretty nicely, even without the fetch lands.

Great episode. Really looking forward to more. This is just the kind of podcast I have been looking for.

Have either of you tried to make a deck where Living Lore actually works well? Every time I have tried to build something, my Living Lore gets hit with removal before it can deal combat damage.
